Can any one identify what this spiecies is in the attached photo?

It appears to be Capnella sp. AKA Kenya Tree Coral

It's a beautiful coral, but it can be a nuisance. it grows by breaking off pieces of itself and attaching to other parts of the tank. so keep an eye on it.

everytime i see some growing/floating around my tank i net it and throw it into my refugium. if it grows down there it grows but atleast its out of my main tank.
