Smoking snail

so i come home last night and my tank is a little fogged out and i noticed that three of my snails are smoking. whats that all about? do i need to get them on the patch or something LOL.

It has to do with the moon, lunar pull, and changing water parameters. Maybe you just did a large water change or added a lot of fresh water because of evaporation. It happened to me a few months ago durning the full moon and after a large water change, now i have baby snails all over my sand bed. Make sure you don't siphon them out.
