All of a sudden whenever I put my hand in the tank, I get an electric shock, what could it be coming from? I'm a lil concerned, never had this problem before today?

I'm a lil concerned,

And so am I.......about your comment here.

You should be very concerned about stray voltage.

What you need to do is unplug ALL electrical components of your system and systematically replug one in at a time while testing the water for stray voltage .......WITH A VOLTAGE TESTER. Not your hand.

As you rule out the appliance as not the source of your stray voltage, unplug it (just to be sure) and then plug in the next one. Continue doing this until you find the culprit. When you do, replace that appliance. No need to consider fixing it. Just replace it.

haha this threat started with electric shocks, . n ended with thru-nail cuticles shocks.. LOL .. But yes, that's True...
Good luck finding the defective part.... AND MORE important.. Make sure your equipments are GROUNDED .. DO NOT CUT the ground to fit the three-prong pump into a 2-prong socket....
That way your cuticles stay in your hands, otherwise ...

It sounds to me you don't have a GFCI and you should for that same reason.Any way unplug everything and plug in one at a time and stick your hand in and see if you get any sensation hopefully is not too extreme to kill you .....Thats why maybe you should first install a gfci before you do this.

Glad you found the source. And it ALWAYS is the last piece of equipment you check :banghead: Especially when using your hand as the tester!
