My brain is out of wack?

The other night the brain coral started to shoot out what seemed to be white dots into the tanks. It would pull itself in and then push out a number of these white dots. What is it doing?

Tomorrow is the Full Moon...

These events are more common around that time. Curious as to whether you recently did a water change?
Tonight I'll be doing a water change in both of my tanks, and if I've got my schedule right my bristleworms will spawn after my lights go out tonight (oh joy)...just might stay up to see if I'm correct...note to self..charge the camera batteries...

the brain is in my partners tank. I'm not too sure when he did a water change. Yesterday he topped it off with RO/DI water.
