I voted daily because I couldn't vote 3-4 times a week.
But for me the turkey baster is one if not the top tool for the tank.
I use it to blast some misc crud, spot feed (I like to proppel the krill at 30 knots at my anemome) :kidding: (from phytoplanton to krill), suck up some algae, or pick up something that fell over. If I had a 120 G tank it might not be so useful.

...

The poll does not have "never".

NEVER.

I ussually dont use a clean up crew. Never had more than 1-5 sails in any of my tanks.....

Cleaning the glass ur self works wonders.

funny timing - i just bought a new one b/c my old one is so old that it can't hold its water any more...

i use it to spot feed every other day, to grab tiny stuff floating in the water that i want to investigate, to feed just one fish at a time (just for fun - the maroon clown will eat from my fingers, but the baster is probably better for the sake of the water....) and to blow off the rocks.

It is in the water pretty much every day.

OXO makes a GREAT baster!!!!! :)

No baster for me, I use a MJ powerhead once a month prior to doing a large water change. Blasts tons of crap off the rocks & the tank inhabitants seem to like the extra food. The snails do an ok job on the glass but I swipe the glass 1 or 2 times a week w/a magfloat for even cleaning.
