Elos is at the high end, your paying for one of the best.

A "well equipped" Biotopus with the bluetooth and SMS and a few other options will run you about $2,500-2,600 last I checked. If it were just based on looks alone and having everyone who stood in front of your tank stare at your controller as much as the corals, than you NEED this lol. Profilux is good stuff and some of their equipment is amazing and sharp looking. In all honesty though, when it comes down to pricing there are many "inexpensive" models that will cover what you need without all the expensive bells and whistles. But, who wouldn't want to call your tank from your cell phone just to ask it how it's doing?

I just want a temp controller that can be compatible with a pinpoint cal monitor.. Any thoughts guys

Pinpoint's calcium monitor outputs its results to its screen. Not really any way to hook it up to a controller.

I didn't want to call the guy for an estimate because I won't be buying one... After the new year I'll be buying one for the "Top of the line" tank build I have to do... Then I'll call but I hate inquiring about something I'm not even considering buying...
