Trying to weigh my options. The plumbing in this apartment makes it impossible for me to make my own. Even the plumbing beneath the sink is recessed and not viable for a hookup. No hookup outside either. I suppose I could either buy the water or have a store do the setup…any thoughts?

You can get something called a ez tee and it’ll add on a 1/4 compression for the to adapter from the toilet speedy valve in that case. Make sure it’s a 3/8 x 1/4 ez tee and you’ll be golden.

Some folks go with an EZ tee adapter on the speedy valve of a nearby toilet if there's no direct hookup under the sink. That way, you can still get a 1/4” compression connection without needing to mess with the main faucet lines. Another option might be to switch out to bathroom taps that allow for easier customization, which could give you more flexibility with adapters if you try a different setup later.
