Help with noise please

Is there something I can do to reduce the noise of the skimmer's needle wheel air intake?????

You can make a "muffler" out of small container. Something like the little canisters that 35mm photo film comes in work well. You drill two holes and put a short piece of hose in one and the hose to the skimmer goes in the other - basically like an automotive muffler. If you need further noise reduction you can put some cotton in the container.
