Sediment on rocks

I have alot of sediment on my live rocks. Should I blow it off with a power head? Does this prevent coraline from growing on the rocks?

used to blow off them. you need for the wastes on the rocks also. they inrease / convert phospate !
maybe you have to increase your circulation for not accumulating.

You can always suck it out during water changes.

So should I be blowing them off? My tank has been set up for over a year and everything is doing pretty awesome. Corals etc are looking fine but I was just wondering if that sediment is what is stopping the coraline growth on the rocks. I have alot of corraline on the glass of the tank ans some rocks have it but that is because I bought them that way.

Yes, It is a good idea to "storm" the tank with a turkey baster or powerhead before a water change.
