I have a chance to pickup a baseball size bubble coral. (priced right free) There seems to be a lot of diffrence on light requirement. I do not have MH lighting yet and may not have for a while. I have 48 inch 260w of PC lighting. I have been told that is more than enough light and others tell me the bubble coral will not survive. If you have bubble coral what kind of water flow do you have them in? Water depth is about 16 inches.

Thanks

That is enough light for a bubble coral IMO. I kept mine under MH lighting but they don't need quite so much.

Keep it in rather "light" flow, and once or twice a week, after the lights are out and it shows it's feeder tentacles, give it a meal. A small peice of raw ocean fish or raw shrimp placed near the mouth.
