What would you guys recommend for powerheads for me ? I have 2 Koralia 1's on my 30 gal but I'm not crazy about the design (I found a snail stuck inside the cage) and I'm moving up to a 58 gal tank in a few months....recommendations please !

Aquaclears are dependable but not ideal for in-tank circulation IMO. Stick with Tunze(if you can swing them) or Seios for a broader stream from the pump.

i have 2 tunze 6025's in my 29 and soon to be in my 62g but going to mod one of them. from what i read on rc modding the 6025 almost double's water movement. plus the magnet holder is nice, i had 2 seio 620's and wasnt impressed with them nor the suction cups to hold them

I have 2 seio 820's in my tank but before that for almost 2 years I had an aquaclear 50 and a maxijet 1200, they all work great. Now since the MJ and the AC are a few years old, and because I needed a little extra flow I bought the 820's, I also have a 55 gallon tank. My suggestion to you is that if you're ready to spend 100+ on a powerhead and you can afford it go right ahead, if not Get an Aquaclear and or a maxijet. You can mod those as well and if you void your 30 dollar powerheads warranty I don't think you'll be too mad, but if you mod a tunze and void your 130 dollar powerheads warranty you'll probably be a little mad (and out 130).
