ASM G3 Recirc Mod

Does anyone in the board know how to do this? Also, what type of pump do I need for the Mod to achieve the maximum efficiency on my skimmer? Input is very welcome...

Thanks Deanos.. I saw that thread that was why I wanted to know if anyone on the board has done it. I bought my ASM used and I do not know if ASM will do the Mod for me since I am not the original owner.

That website is not ASM; they are a distributor/reseller or whatever the technical term is.
Several MR members have the recirc mod on their ASMs. I have all the parts, but have been too lazy lately to complete it. I think the mod is too easy to merit shipping your skimmer to ASMSkimmer.com.

yea its actually very simple... copy the layout from ask skimmer where you would want the hole... im actually gonna be modding mine in the near future... i will be using my return were its drilled in the display tank to use that as the recir. overflow with a ball valve so i can reduce flow to wat it has to be... i believe 100gph-200gph somewhere around there...
