Return pump

So after reading a number of posts and articles I am starting to think I need a bigger return pump. I am thinking a mag9.5? I turn to you to correct me if I'm wrong. I currently have a rio 2500 that is 682gph. I have about 1 1/2 feet of 3/4 inch hose going to return. My return itself goes through my corner in tank overflow which is 2ft. I also have 2 Koralia evolution power heads rated at 1025 gph 1 on each side pretty much pointing at each other. This is all on a 90 gallon tank with a 20 gallon long tank with 3 sections. Drain/fuge/return. All that said is the 9.5 enough or could I got bigger?

Forgot to add I have a 1 inch drain and I think my tank is a perfecto 90 with the corner over flow. Its been years since I bought it.

I have a 90 gal aga with a 40 gal sump im using a marineland 5500 utility pump is silent and perfect flow

a 1" drain can handle 600 gph, you can push it to 800 gph but it will be very noisy, and will not allow for any error, to be safe nothing over 600 gph, at the head height you have.

Safe? What do you mean by safe? im seriously overclocking my drain, lol. Is thats even the right word to use. And yes it is noisy. What am i risking here? what can go wrong?

here is the way I look at it, if you are maxing out your drains, and something gets clogged up, their is no leeway, it can spill over.
