Dr. Timothy A. Hovanec will be our 1st speaker on Saturday at 12:30 P.M. Dr Tim is the Founder and CEO of DrTim?s Aquatics, LLC. a leading provider of innovative natural bacterial-based products to the aquarium industry including One and Only Live Nitrifying Bacteria.
Dr. Tim holds over 13 U.S. and foreign patents and has authored numerous papers on aquatic microbiology, water quality and filtration techniques for closed system life-support systems (many of which can be accessed at www.drtimsaquatics.com)

Colin Foord will be speaking Saturday at 2:30 P. M. Colin is a marine biologist, coral aquaculturist, artist, photographer, and filmmaker educated at the University of Miami. He is co-founder of the marine biological art duo Coral Morphologic wherein he manages the world?s only multi-media coral aquaculture studio in the heart of Miami.
It is Coral Morphologic?s mission to hybridize art and science in such a manner that people of all ages will be inspired to consider the mysteries of life on Earth while under the influence of the corals? fluorescent cosmic spell.

Julian Sprung will be speaking Sunday at 12:30 P.M. Julian is a graduate of the University of Florida, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology, and is President of the aquarium industry company @two_little_fishies. that he co-founded in 1991.
Julian became known to the aquarium hobby through his monthly column Reef Notes in FAMA magazine, and many years of traveling the lecture circuit at aquarium club meetings and exhibitions around the world. His books include The Reef Aquarium, volumes One, Two and Three, which he co-authored with J. Charles Delbeek, Corals: A Quick Reference Guide, Invertebrates: A Quick Reference Guide, and Algae: A Problem Solver Guide.

Justin Zimmerman will be speaking Sunday at 2:30 P.M. He is an Aquarium Supervisor at SeaWorld of Florida where he has worked for over 19 years with a current area of specialty in living coral reef aquariums and their care Justin is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Biology and Marine Science. Justin has worked with coral spawning projects in the Caribbean, including project SECORE and more recently partnered with the Florida Aquarium to collect endangered coral larvae from the Florida Keys with the hope returning the lab grown corals back into the wild. Justin will be talking about the design, building, water quality and maintenance of the current living reef aquariums at SeaWorld, Orlando as well as the most important aspects of setting up a successful reef aquarium at home.
