Had a chance to finally meet Johnny from Pop corals.. What a pleasure it was. He is an awesome guy, and delivered some healthy clowns. I am really happy at this point right now. Not even 3 mins after putting one of the clowns in he went straight to my BTA. Awesome guy, great prices, healthy stuff.


What is everyone elses experiences with Johnny?

i went yesterday for the 1st time , pick up a red star fish & something white i can't remember the name but johnny was great i felt like i knew him all my life just with a small conversation i had with him . great prices on everything .

Yeah Johnny is a great guy. Met him today when he delivered some goods for me. Very friendly, his stuff is great. Just raising some awareness for pop for people who haven't been there yet.

Yeah john came to li to deliver me some goodies haha. He is an awesome guy glad I got to do business with him. Prices are reasonable and fish are exactly the pictures he sent me no games what so ever.

I have purchased coral and fish from John many times and have nothing but praises for him. Pop Corals customer service is top notch, and their prices are very competitive. The fish and coral were always healthy. He always has a large selection on hand, and can order you most anything you want. We are fortunate to have vendors like Pop Corals around.

Unfortunately I'm never over that way and never had a chance to actually pop into his store.. Feel like I'm missing out. It was awesome he did what he did knowing that I wanted those specific fish, if there's anything I want I'll be sure to shoot him a message. Never came across a vendor who was willing to deliver like he did. Awesome

John is a classy dude. I started buying corals from him when he first decided to sell some nice lps he had when switching to high end sps and chalices in his home tank. Watched him start the new store and gain hundreds of customers, and I can assure hes an honest guy who has top notch stuff. If you haven't been at his store you are missing out.
I ordered a new Hydra 26 from him this week and it came in at a day from order when other stores and online retailers told me a week at least. Thanks John, having more than 80% of my corals come from your store, I know I can rely on you.

I've always had a good experience with John. It takes me a long time to get to Bay Ridge but it's always worth the trip.
And not to mention he has one of the best coral selections around and always the best selection of clownfish.

John is a great guy with a great store. He has a great knowledge of all aspects of the hobby and what he doesn't know, he finds out. As far as the stock in the store goes, your just gonna have to go and see. As far as price, fair is not the word, I'd go with CHEAP (and thats certainly not a description of his merchandise). BTW he has a pretty good golf game too

The word cheap certainly does not reflect what john carries. He carries some top notch stuff and his prices for that stuff are crazy. But all in all great guy for sure.
