1st shots with my new Nikon D3100!!

I attempted some reef pics but they did not come out very good. I went outside for about 20 minutes and snapped a few.

what lens are you using i just bought the d-5100 with the stock lens i will be upgrading the lens soon

It is the stock lense. I never knew when viewing shots on the computer that after you zoom in you can crop it and save. I bought this camera thinking I needed a great macro lense to get those close ups I see posted. Guess I was wrong!!!
