Learned a Little

here are just a few pics off my nikon D3000... learned how to use it a little bit still a lot more to learn.. let me know what you guys think...

Good ones. I have a tip for you- go to white balance settings, set K and I don't know how far can d3000 go, but set the higher Kelvin temperature you can, I think 10000K on your camera. Hope that helps.

where do i find that option i was looking and it only shows me options to pit from like cloudy,shade,flash,etc. nothing with kelvin or temp??

Try that 'cloudy' setting, I have some success taking pics with that at times

Looking good man. Kathy is correct, if you don't have Kelvin preset in white balance settings (consumer level cameras may not have that) use cloudy, it's closest to the temperature of reef light.

something else i have been doing is taking the picture in RAW mode and i downloaded adobe lightroom and i can adjust things in there which is pretty cool!!! thanks everyone for the compliments i will have more soon promise
