Fall is a time of reflections to me and I was thinking of how to get started to being recognized with the other hobby I have- photography. Just to make things straight, I am not talking about going pro right away, but I was thinking of spending lees time with my xbox:) and maybe starting my own website with a short gallery of photos I took, maybe a blog too. Can you recommend me some free portfolio sites or blogs/forums I can try.
The other thing I wanted to say is that if you ever need a free/for food photographer for your event, let me know, I would be more than happy to do that and learn some skills. I'm still far from being a pro but I would like to start building up my portfolio. Thank you and have a good night everyone

for a portfolio site, carbonmade is pretty easy to use. you could also set up some sort of blog on tumblr or blogspot (also very easy.)

If you have a mac, you can make websites on iWeb, but they aren't really that nice. I have a list of a bunch of free portfolio sites around somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up :)

Thank you Jeanine. Carbonmade looks very promising, I start gathering pictures and will make myself a portfolio:) I found this site to be good too, it's a kind of photoblog pixelpost.org what do you think?
