Thats awesome. I've seen hermit molts and pieces of my peppermint and cleaner shrimp molts getting eaten by my acans, but nothing like that......

Not trying to hijack, but you may also be curious about this:

When I first saw it happen I was worried that the molt might cut the inside of the corals. What happens inside acans, scolys, tractophylia, basically anything that would eat a whole molt like that? How does that hard exoskeleton get consumed?

i supposed the scoly digested it somehow....i didn't see it spits anything out.
never thought about if it would get cut up by the molt....i hope not. it seems to eat everything that landed on it.
i sometime feed the acan, scoly, duncan, dendro, and balanophyllia freeze dried shrimps and they seem to love them and never see them spit out a shell or anything....so i guess they ate them skeleton and all....;)
