question for ya. what size reef tank is this that you are putting this in and how much lr does it have to graze on. i understand its hard to resist sometimes at the lfs or online on fish but if you type in regal angel on any site it comes up challenging or very hard. that should be a red flag. most sites say they need ALOT of lr to graze on and just because its eating does not thumbs up and mean its healthy. its one of those hit or miss fish. most of the time people miss. yet some people, even on here, have them and managed to keep them happy which is very good on there behalf but still if you ask a owner of one im sure there not going to say its an easy fish! go for it! i just read alot of info on this fish within the past 25 minutes and if an article takes maybe 5 minutes worth of reading...about 3 minutes were negative talk about it. here is a good site i found about some quick need to know information.

so how is the new one doing?

The regal will eat all sponges in the tank, or atleast mine did before moving on to zoas. Then, I think that b/c the sponges were all gone, my water quality went into a bad cycle( I do not mean the tank cycled, just that with sponges gone, odd stuff happened). I did alot of water changes, and sponges eventually grew back.....
The point of this post was to warn you, keep up on water changes , etc.

If it was from NYAquatic, I had some odd things with fish from him, more than once(always shipped, never picked up)
