The sps are lit by 2 250w 10k reeflux metal halides and 2 400w 10k reeflux metal halides.Hey Lindsy I was curious what lighting those SPS were under???
Hi,pic two is a blue Acropora Tenuis, very nice coral. We see them in green, green blue tipped and solid blue. What is pic #2?
Sounds good, how about taking a luminark reflector, bang two fittings on it and run a 400w 10k reeflux and a 250w 20k,400w for approx 6hours and then the 20k for 3 to 4 hours, not done it yet but going to get round to it one day lol.lindsay I run all T5's now but I ran 400w 10k reeflux on an old tank and I love the appearance that they gave to blue corals. Very different from other 10k bulbs. My favorite halide look would be 10 ushios with 4 VHO actinics . I also like 400w radiums.
Kind words thanks.very nice pictures. hope i can be like that one day.
Hi,the corals are from our sps stock tank, which we sale here in the UK,both locally and on line throughout the UK.Would like to say where they come from but suspect my brother would shoot me lol.Spent all day yesterday photographing more sps so with luck will try to post some of them on here soon. Most of the sps have man made bases on them.Which part of the world\farm did they come from? Why are they in sand cups? no base on these?
