Are they mated? The male would be slightly smaller and the female has bluish colored ovaries that can usually be easily seen and from the picture they both have the bluish colored overies. I am looking for a male CBS and have not luck.
Bad as it may be, perhaps Petco may be the place to find a male. I got a mated pair from them. Even though they were in separate bags and the ovaries were not visible on the female, I had gotten to pick through their stock when it came in. I guess lady luck was on my side when I picked them. I've had them for about 14 maybe 16 months now. Still making babies and still growing bigger. They're amazing animals to watch when the lights are off and they are roaming. It's an interesting sight to see the male bring food to the female. LOL
