This thread is for shots strictly taken under LED Actinics - no daylight shots or regular actinic shots please.

Here are my two shots taken today. Only adjustments were to sharpen - pic 1 - tyree undata - pic 2 - orange crush acan

My pictures were shot with the current LED Powerbright strips - no offense to Alan, but I put those on my tank borrowed from another reefer and the Powerbrights shone right through them. IMO they can't compare but are a good affordable alternative.

The picture above in post #1 - that monti is 24" down the water column from the LED's,

No offense taken. I do agree with you, powerbrights are very bright, I am using 3 of them in the front and have 4 strips of flexible leds all around the tank. I know exactly what the differences are. Powerbright uses 1 watt bulbs, while the strips are 7-8 watt per 120 leds strips, and of course price difference. Powerbright is more of spotlight, unless u get a few of them, thats why i incorporate the strips to brighten up the whole tank. The result is amazing.

Nice approach alan - wish i had the space for a few strings myself - I just couldn't get my head around making it work,

I got some shot's of a chalice,purple cap that looks blue, and a scoly under Wingo's LEd's.. Just blue LED's..

One word SICK..and the corals look the same when you look at them live..
My new system will definetly have a strong LED on it..
