We just booked our second trip to the Bahamas for our 1 year and was looking at the pics from last Oct. Figured I would share a few.

we whent for 14 yrs with our kids, last year was the last year for us. They are so over priced its like stealing from you. We whent to Johnny Rockets with our 4 kids and we all had grilled cheese and burgers $150. Come on now, we stay at the Cove in Alantis every time, yea its amazing but the hospitallity wasnt there like it used to be, down by the pool we started talking with other guests that said they packed a suitcase full of snacks because its so over priced and that it was there last trip also. When I go away I want to eat good food, they only have one steak house and its on the board walk by all the double digit million dollar boats.
This is not a reasonable vacation spot anymore.

Nice pics! I have never been there or to any other island yet, but that is the first place I want to go. Always wanted to go there. Congrats on your One year Anniversary! Have a great time when you go again and take lots of pics!

yEAH WE ARE STAYIN at sandals all inclusive all u can eat and drink no bills no tips. Atlantis is robbery 9.50 for a coke with a cup 3/4 full of ice and a 1/4 filled with coke it reminded me of six flags.

U guys will have to wait till october when I go back, I am hitting up Atlantis again last time I only got to see half of it. I may try snorkeling i never did it before. but if u are interested Sandals is couples only all inclusive and they are running sick deals right now.

Here is my favorite and less expensive way to stay in the Bahamas.

It's a quick flight over to andros, and the beach house guest packet sets you up with a pilot. The bay is amazing and so shallow that kids can see wildlife in the sand from the kayak or just by wading out to the small cay infront of the house at low tide. The rays at Atlantis actually came from the bay in front of the house. Rodney, the neighbor is the one who caught them. The tank at atlantis wasn't ready on time so he let the first ones go and caught more after the tank was finished. He still feeds a couple of the original ones by hand. Bring water shoes - the sand is soft, but the crabs are bold! I was never pinched but I did get scared.

If you want to dive, bring your own equipment. Rodney (the neighbor) will take you diving, but the only place for rentals is half way down the island on a bumpy road.

The big downside to this island was bugs. The people density is low which means the bug density is high!

Great way to see Bahamas,

Take a small plane from Nassau to Normans Cay, its in the Exumas. They have beach houses for rent and a great Jimmy Buffet type restaurant and that is all.

Its the only place you want to be for New Years Eve.

The marine life was awesome the last time i was there and there is plenty of coral and island to explore.

Instead of having to see it though glass.
