I can't slow it down that much,unless I use the multi timer function on the RK2... I'm using it to light the whole tank and it seems to be doing the job well... Fish seem to follow the light some times.. This also the reason why I got small fish I figured they would acclimate better to the rail, after hearing that it stress' fish out.... It's just something you have to see in person..

maybe the corals and fish may interpret the light as the sun being passed through the clouds rather than going through the day/night cycle who knows maybe some unexpected benefit (staying optimistic) will come out of this.

At some point I would love to incorporate something like this canopy lift into my light scheme in addition to hooking up the sliding rail, maybe a little too overboard, but we'll see only time will tell:splitspin

Ding ding ding... You're today's lucky winner that was the original purpose of the rail to simulate clouds and also give corals that all around color instead of the one side I was getting before... My only real question is will 400 watts be enough to hold on to my color...

Thanks for the link I just so happen to have a linear actuator laying around that I used on my old bed with my first flatscreen in it... You guys know the next project for this week now,,,lol.

Okay people I got some good news... I put this light in exactly a week ago.. I had left the lights off for about a week prior... I'm now starting to see the color coming back in on my more delicate Sps...:splitspin
