Most of the small rocks are just seeding coraline which seems to be working nicely. I know its looking pretty bare but we all started somewhere lol.

I feel ike I just played 100 games of wack a mole lmao! After getting up close and personal I have a couple more in the tank also. None of which I can get out with out tearing it apart. I will give lemon juice a shot and keep a close eye for new ones.

I had a few small aiptasia growing on my rocks. I put a couple peppermint shrimp in there and they seem to have eaten it all. Apparently it is hit or miss with the shrimp, but they worked for me.

I found a new way to remove aiptasia:

I recently saw a small one growing on one of my rocks, so I watched it & waited until it grew enough to inject it (quadripled in size in a few days). I positioned the rock it was on so that it was on top of the rock.

Then, I placed a frag on a large frag disk right on top of it thinking it would die of smotherization, in the interim while I found a needle. Everytime I saw it peeking out from under the frag disk I would reposition the disk so that it was covered.

I went to my local pharmacy & they refused to sell me a syringe. Went home thinking I would just carve a chunk of the rock it was on out. Picked up the frag disk & it had moved to the disk! And split off a baby!

Removed the disk from the tank & surgically removed (scraped off with razor blade) both from disk. Viola! No more aiptasia!!

They look so cute there together. Kinda like mama & baby!!

I got rid of my one and only aiptasia by injecting it with plain old white vinegar.;) I guess one good thing came out of being a diabetic.lol

lol awibrandy it does look pretty silly I will probably do some switching around once the 12 gets setup a little more. Put the 24 on top and 12 on the side. I was actually thinking about removing alot of the sand in the 24 looks weird with all that in there.
