i saw a blue patch on my coral banded shrimp and looked close and its full of eggs. also a while ago my cardinals mouth was all puffed and i figured it had eggs in it but then one day he was normal so i figured the eggs died. the a week later i saw these 2 little guys. i have no idea how they survived. the last pic is of the clownfish eggs under a microscope. i wonder if any of them can survive

Thats really great. You should try to document your progress along with all measurements including photoperiod and water params as well as food ( to the parents and young ).

Wow, I think you need an anemone to have success with them breedingl
I don't believe this to be true.
clownfish will just like to clean their spot on the rock before they lay, and its typically on the side of an anemone, but they'll do the same on a torch coral.
For Banggai's, they have nothing to do with anemones. They naturally live with a long spine urchin which gives them camouflage and protection.

crox99- haha thats tooo funny man. good luck with that and the anemone

reefman- i have 4 bengai's. noone bothering them bubt one went missing a couple days ago. i was having a ph problem that may have killed him or he got eaten

ming- funny u should mention the urchin bc when the anemone is shrivled up the baby tries to hide in my urchins spines. but the anemone is where it hides 90% of the time so i would def say that its survival in my tank was increased significantly by the anemone.

anyway thanks for the support guys its fun to show people who r into fish. non-fish people just dont get it.

Great pictures! Congrats on the banggai babies :)
If you exposed the clown eggs to air while putting them under the microscope, they'll die. Eggs must always stay submerged until hatched.
