Here are some of my Acans, Photos were taken by Witold.
Most of these acans are growing very well. They are in a 40 breeder
with T-5 lighting. I feed them about three times a week and then I do a water change at the end of the week. I feed them my own mixture of fresh clams, oysters, sea bass, shrimp, and 5 kinds of fresh seaweed from a friend in Maine. Everything is blended and then frozen.
I have sold a lot of my livestock so the acans have room to grow out. I really love the variations in color. Thanks again Wit.

Although I have a few nice acans, Alex has the nicest collection of acans I have seen so far - you have to see his tank to really appreciate the quality of these pieces.

Thanks for the compliments. J. Hale the pictures were taken mid morning.
Many of these Aussie Acans have their feeding tentacles out all day.
Their growth rate seems to be much faster than most of my non Aussies.
I have seen a few Stomatella snails which had the misfortune of landing in the hungry mouths of these acans.
