Well here is my first shot with my new Canon Xt with kit lens. Iam going to order my macro lens in a few days, as soon as i figure out which other basic lens to order.

Well this pic is pretty cool but not of my tank. Tank pics are coming blurry, need to get a tripod. But here it is

What I did find also that having a BOW is hard to photograph the glass distorts some of the pics. Any TIPS from any one on shooting pics in a bow?

LOL, do I know! I was told by one of the Master photographers here to do a 45 degree angle, and that should help. I'v been trying to follow this advice. My cam is not as good as yours, and I wish I could add different lenses. Anyway here is one I tried with the 45 degree angle.

When you try a macro shot from an angel on a BF, it gets a bit distorted.
More so from the sides, than looking from above.

Try dead on shots. Keep the cam leveled & straight to object you want to shoot.
A tripod helps alot.
Believe me, it will take many shots just to get the right one.

Now get on it & report back.:)
