You are going to need tons of pods for that guy to keep him nice and full.

Let me ask you guys something, why ask questions if you don't care what the answers are? If I had said "Hey keeping those two corals so close together will cause problems" there would have been a big "thanks" but because my comment was on a fish that's not ok?

Because it was such an obvious slap to his great job on the tank. There are more peaceful ways to tell someone they made a bad choice. And on top of it, the gentlemen knows it was a mistake. I am sure it was the fast tongue of a LFS that enabled the purchase. Everyone makes mistakes, there is no reason to rub it in their face.

In fact, he is starting a 125 gal system to rectify the situation.

It wasn't a personal attack and calling people out on things like this is how others learn. Subaru sells stuff everyday on here, the thing to do is to sell the BH. Buy another one when you get the 125 setup. Keeping a BH in a tank like this is begging to get ick or other diseases in your display.

This wasn't a slap but something that needed to be said. You also need to remember that other people also look at these threads and see someone doing something, like have a fish that gets very large in a small tank, and think it's not a problem. They then go out and do the same thing. So even though it maybe a mistake it needs to be brought to the attention of everyone here.

A lot of times people do things with the plan on upgrading, only to never have it happen. It's best to do the upgrade first and then get the fish/coral. Many fish/corals either die or have to be given away because people were planning upgrades that never happen. Now that mayn't be the case here but more than not it is.
