Oooh what kind of starfish JustPhish? Looks like fun in a species specific tank (especially if they'll eat thawed out silversides).

Chip, is that your infamous spiderman starfish?? :)

It was a red general star or something like that if I remember correctly. It was huge and a nice critter.

I have the crappiest luck with starfish, I've pretty much given up on them. ::sigh::

Have you guys heard that the new 'trick' to keeping blue linckia is that they can't be exposed to air? Or am I behind the times just now hearing that?

I've heard that as well. But then that goes out the window when I get fresh live rock with all sorts of linckias hitchhiking on it which get tanked and live just fine.

Course it's been a LONG time since I have gotten fresh picked live rock sans insect infestations.

they must be acclimated SLOWLY, incredibly SLOWLY, and have NO TOLERANCE for changes in alkalinity during acclimation, or sudden changes in the tank (which might be happening during water changes :P

Over 2 months and the little guy is still going strong. I'll snap a pic of him when he comes back around to the front of the tank.

Peace,

Chip
