These are some pics of my new 33 gallon "reef" tank. I havent had a chance to add many new corals. The tank is a hybrid of my 5.5 gallon nano-reef and a 25 gallon reef from Raf's *cough* ex *cough*. This tank (although it has more light than my 20 gallon) will probebly stay mainly a soft-coral tank. ;) Oh.... and I cant stop playing with my camera.

Heres some pickies!

Ocellaris clownfish (really hard to shoot b/c they move constantly... but I thought these two shots were neat even though they are out of focus):

Very nice, love the reefscape and the plants.
Excellent photos. Is this a 33 long which is 48" in length?

Sorry forgot to mention the cam... its a Nikon D70 DSLR with a Nikkor f2.8D 60mm macro lens. :D

No the tank is a standard 33 gallon... 36" long. My lens requires me to go quite far away from the tank to take a pic... so it ended up looking a little warped. hehe
;)

Thanks

Thanks!

Oops forgot the lighting equipment too! *duh*

Its a 192 watt Coralife Aqualight PC (2x96watt). Its perfect for all the softies I have in there... which will probebly be the extent of its coral occupants. I do have a montipora in my 20 gallon that is doing great though :D

That's one of the best, most natural looking aquascapes I've seen! Uncluttered and open, nice use of macros as well. Reminds me of how a really good bonsai represents a full grown, aged tree.

The 'plants' are Halimeda, a calcareous macro algae. :)

I could do some rooting around for a larger full-tank pic, but usually I'd have to take the quality down on the image in order to allow for a bigger pic.... since photobucket loves to resize pics that are too big. ;)

This tank is no longer up and running, since I have combined most of my tanks into a 90 gallon. Wow, it sure was nice though! And you guys were right (of course) my mushies really did take over the tank! So did the Halimeda... :P
