Just wanted to see if I could post a pic. Can everyone see this ok????

Is the photo too large? Does it load quick? Does it run off the page?

Oooh neat, red one!

Its a little large, since it makes me have to scroll the screen over to see it all. Plus you could keep the same crab size just crop the picture since there really isn't much going on the rocks that make them particularlly photoworthy.

But good shot neverless, I got a green one in my tank somewhere, just have no idea where the heck it is :)

Getter there, try 800x600 max, although 640x480 is more ideal just to keep everyone happy.

Yah as wade said fiddle with resolution sizing if you want to keep the whole background rather than changing the jpg compression settings. Most size (in KB) of pictures is usually acceptable unless you leave it as a BMP image (no compression). When I speak of size, I speak of the actual resolution, which is the difference between a 2 megapixel camera, and a 5 megapixel camera, where a 2MP cam will take pictures of about 1600x1200, 2600x2000 range, but you have to realize that most people's screens are typically only about 1024 wide (older computers are even smaller 640 or 800 pixels wide although some do keep their settings at 1600pixels wide although that's too small for taste). So basically when they view the screen what happens (unless their browsers are set to auto-resize photos, icky patooie!) is that text continues to go the width of the picture, and you have to scroll over to see it all.

Now I don't really have an artistic photographic eye as far as understanding what "looks good" in the picture, ie background, depth, etc, but I do understand picture manipulation :)

Here's your same crab a whole lot smaller, but just cropped out the crab portion and left most of the rock behind.
