I recently got an email containing some pics of deep sea creatures that washed up after the tsunami. Aparently 90% are undocumented in the scientific community.

They are real images, however, they are not from the tidal wave. They are pictures from a deep sea research cruise in the Tasman Sea from summer 2003. If you go to Snopes.com they show you the original website.

They're real--I've seen most of these photos at one time or another. As far as stuff that's washed up after the tsunami, nahhh. Most of these are just extreme deep-water species.

Neat picts none the less.

This is by far one of the ugliest fish I have ever seen.
I just can't stop looking at it!
