I would have taken some pics of it if you did.

I like all the little critters in the invert tanks, makes me want to set up a tank just for them. like the pipe fish.

Lunner, that's not the pylei, that's a rubromarginatus. pylei are more olive and not as colorful.

I almost bought that pylei when I was there. But didn't look as good as your photo when I saw it... Now I think I should of...

Phataria unifascialis (Gray 1840), the Blue Sea Star. Family Ophidiasteridae. To 7 inches in diameter. Eastern Pacific; Sea of Cortez to Peru and the Galapagos, rocky shores to 50 meters depth. Dorsal surface blue or tan with black pebbled lines, underside orange. Algae feeder. Galapagos pix below.
