Vic, nice tank. I'm will be getting some new bulbs soon for my setup. Which bulbs are you using and in what order front to back?

Thanks,
Vance

front to back
actinic +
true actinic
aquablue +
actinic +
aquablue +
actinic+

all are giesemann bulbs I used to run one of eah of the actinic plus and the aqablue pluse I liked the color of the tank but some of the corals were washed out. I replaced a aqablue plus with the pure actinic bulb and love the way the corals are looking now the tank is a bit more blue now but I like it.
Thats a big plus with the t5s you could just swap a bulb or two and change the way it looks.
One draw back with the t5s is that some of the sps corals lose there deep color they tend to lighten up some what. they turn a pastell color. most mushrooms seem to hate this type of lighting as well. I'm still pretty new to t5s and am still learning. if I had an open tank or a in wall tank I would most likely go with metal halids with lumanarc reflectors I still miss the shimmering afect that they give.
