Sounds good. I'm always leery though--if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

My only thought is that it's either a refurb or a grey-market (no warranty).

Always do a search on mail-order camera shop before sending out money or CC info. Thousands of people got burn every year, and you don't want to be one of them.

Did canon announce the new camera yet? Maybe that's why the prices dropped.

Just a thought. I haven't heard about the new release yet.

This is most likely either used or an import. Either of which you probably wouldn't want. They haven't announed 10D's replacement yet, so no reason that it should be that cheap. I have just bought a 10D from National Graphics Supply and they had the cheapest price at the time at 1379.00.

I got a damned good price, deal, and service (though they choked my chicken on second day air charges) from buydig.com. However, IIRC you're in Israel, which means that certain issues that apply to us won't apply to you.

I have had a Canon 10D for a while now, and it is still $1499 just about everywhere. I would watch out for that type of price, there are a lot of Gray market cameras out there, It is one thing to buy an import lens, since warranty is really the only thingdifferent, but look at it this way, if you drop your lens they wont warranty it anyways, and motors are now great in either the USM or Import. You have to be real careful with bodies, man 900 is a lot to spend for a camera that may or may not be real.
