Thanks allot. I definitely agree that what works for you is what matters. to many people try to do what everyone claims works for them. Just do your research figure out your setup and do what works for you not what works for everyone else. I used tap water for over a year:shhh: with no disastrous effects(knock on wood) no cyno,nitrate or phosphate spikes and no nuisance algae. My corals all grew great. I am not recommending people try this it worked for me for some reason i don't know why. I just bought a RODI last week and started using it i was actually hesitant to do this but figured it was something i had gotten along without for a while and i didn't want to risk it anymore. thank you all for the comments ill continue posting pix as the tank grows
