I'm with wampatom, for the most part. I rarely do anything to my shots other than balancing the levels, sometimes adding some saturation to match what I see with my own eyes, and sometimes some unsharp mask to try and remove some motion blur or something. Admittedly, I've been guilty of 'garfing' a couple of shots, mostly early on in my photographic exploits, but I rarely do that any more. I find that if I saturate the photo too much, it starts losing a lot of clarity and detail definition.
