Tony, Tripods are your friend. If you are using one, try using the timer to shot the pictures

Hold off on the DSLR and get the chiller. This way by the time you get more $$$ for the camera, your tank is going to look sick and then you will really have something to shoot.

you think i should hold off.. cause i got the AC unit down here and the tank only has gotten 81 on the most humid day... that without the AC ever getting turned on...

does the basement stay cool?
will your parents freak if you have to leave the a/c on 24/7 just for the tank?
