that crab is actually pretty cool, it's a Zebra Thorn crab (or that's what I have seen it called) and it is symbiotic with urchins, which looks really nice if you have a colorful urchin for him to live on.

yeah, we looked it up at the store, any idea what it eats?

How much was the Odontanthias ? Was it for sale ?

Kasei

it's in the display tank, maybe Jason could find another one :happysad:

Wow I'm going to have to make it up there. You didn't bump into Chris Mathews I take it.

no Chris Mathew was not there.

I ask again........

heh, it's not magic, but I think Jason does have some great suppliers for livestock. they got in 5 boxes of fish from the airport, all the fish looked healthy. It was pretty amazing, I forgot they had such a long trip, they all looked so good. the only problem is Jason has to remember he's supposed to be selling the fish, not putting all the best ones in the display :lol2: I guess I would do the same thing though ;)

this is another box of fish in the acclimating bucket.

Jonathan,
once again thank you for making the trip and taking such awesome photos.
And thanks for making me look like the dashing swashbuckler I am.:Yikes:

Kathy, I only got one, but have heard there may be more around. Retail would be in $250 range.

And thanks again, to all of MR, for all the awsome support.

Uh-oh, if you were afraid, then I'm terrified!:eek1:

Jason? Ya reading this??

Jon.. The coral you brought home (with the green with navy blue tips ) do you know the name it was given? I have the same one from brought it at NERAC. love it! good luck with it.
Odontanthias borbonius

can be found at pets warehouse on sunrise hwy. Saturday they had 1 or 2 left in the frag tanks by the calpuera refugium. they go for $150  A few people on MR (LIRA forum) brought them, and they say they "eat like pigs" and love them.
