W wade1 Advanced Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 Jun 27, 2003 #3 Usually within 4-7 days. You'll see the strands start to come apart and fall off of the glass. You'll never see the resulting free swimming larvae though... they are truly tiny and planktonic. Good coral food is about it. Wade
