Yeah, I looked forever for one of these- got two frags for from a guy in the Rocky Mtn Reef club- Cris on RC. He has a lot of frags. Mine are growing real fast- this one already probably has double the polyps in the last month. They drop frags naturally, so hopefully I will have some available!

That's a toadstool (Sarcophyton) leather? 8O Wow! Do you know what area it came from or which specfic species it is? I was thinking about one of the more well known species that has the shorter polyps on it. Great pic! :D

Noel at Scientific Corals used to sell these for $50 for an eraserhead sized frag!

Cheers

James- That's probably the source of my obsession. I had one of those with about 3 polyps on it, and it took about 2 years to get a quarter size out of it. These are that big already. :D

yimmit- sorry, I really know nothing specific about it...

Supposedly they start dropping frags naturally when they get big enough.

Cris (spelled like that) on RC is where I would look.

They are like $100 for something the size of a half-dollar in one of my LFS in Lake Forest, CA.

I used to have one, but after it did not seem to grow a bit for three months, I decided to sell it to someone for $20. Toadstool never seem to grow well in my tanks. :(
