One of my favorite fish... Yasha hase goby. No modifications on this one except crop, resize and sharpen.

Ah yes, also known as the White Threadfin Goby. Hails from Japan, IIRC. (Had to ID the little bugger for someone last week.) Pretty cool fish, if ya ask me.

Extraordinary shot! It's always good when the water column is so calm that it basically disappears. Good control of the DOF as well--it really makes the fish stand out against the background!

Thanks for the comments. :) Righty, fish is model citizen in my tank. He's a hardcore survivor too...he's survived being bullied by my candy hog, and being potential dinner for my golden dwarf morays. I've since removed my candy hog, and my eel pays no attention to it anymore. :) He lives in a hole shared by 5+ other bristle worms, and doesn't seem to mind at all. He's a tough little fella. :)

I figured I'd bump this, simply because I *love* this picture and I was showing someone what this fish looked like.

Peace,

Chip

Mine doesn't have those greenish blue tinges, in person or on film. Very beautiful fish, and he's not too shy.
