Do you think that hurts? I mean, has he done it before and gone back for more?

Great photos :!:

I've got a Royal Gramma who has done this more than once. Amazing to me that they go back for more. Those worms must taste good, huh?...

Great shots BTW! :)

I've seen a Trigger fish do that constantly. All a matter of stomach over mind, or pain :D

Actually I don't think they really feel it much at all, IIRC there has been some studies that show that fish don't feel pain.

I had an oscar once that tried to eat a little cory cat. Got the little guy in his mouth but then his spikes stuck through the sides of the oscars head. Had to wait until the poor guy disolved a bit to get in there and pull him out. :D

MickAv8r don't start that damn discussion again.
Has anybody ever seen a tile fish called a blue blanquillo? That is what is listed as in Baench Marine Atlas I. My brother has one about 10" long. It eats bristle worms like no fish I have ever seen. It's a big party when I visit, we snag worms outta the sump & feed the tile fish. He will ram his head into the sand when he finds one too it's a trip. Pretty wrasse, what kind is it?

You know, I'd also like to know how you got so damn CLOSE to the fish to take those shots! Every time I get near the tank to shoot my labouti wrasse, he's gone in a puff of smoke.

Peace,

Chip
