I haven't posted anything in a while and I got a new tank on Monday. It was for sale in the paper for $350. It is a 40 gal with solid oak stand and canopy. The lady had so much live rock in the poor mated pair of gold stripe maroons couldn't even swim. I ended up putting alot of rock in my 29 and a few pieces in my 55 and still filled the 40. The corals really aren't that colorful (except the hammer which went in my 55), but the rock alone was worth the price.

You can see the male clown on the left edge of this pic, but they really still don't want to come out.

Gorgeous images, and definitely a great deal.

That polyp looks like Protopalythoa spp. to me (a zoanthid)

those are a deep water zoo- I had a few in the rock work in a display tank at the store I ran- you are the only other person I have EVER known of that has them. they dont do much, just really unusual looking.they're not poisonous to my knowlege- at least I nor any of the few employees I had had a problem with them.
