Her usual spot, riding on top of the gigantea anemone and just waiting for someone to come along and piss her off. 8O

They both are! 8O :D That's a 75 gal tank and you can see the anemone stretches almost from the bottom to the top. 8O The female clown is about 5 1/2" long and close to an inch thick. She definitely rules the tank with an iron fist...er...fin.

She looks mean. Your male looks like he has a gold head stripe but two white stripes...am I seeing things?

Not really. "Little Bastard" (he stood up to a mean as hell damsel in another tank and lost an eye) is a goldbar, but a very weak one. His head-stripe usually has a pretty yellow tint to it, but his other stripes are more white. The female is a plain ol' maroon, but she's so mature her stripes have shrunken almost to the point of disappearing. They're dotted lines in some spots.

Check out http://reefs.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=30200 for a pic of the lineatus. I've had him in the tank for just over a year now. He's been a pretty good fish overall. I haven't had any aggression problems from him, but I can tell he's starting to get a little cramped in the 75 (he's about 4" now and can get from one side of the tank to the other in about a second with two flicks of his tail). I'm hoping to get everything moved into a 125 in a couple weeks. I think I haven't seen much aggression from him just because I haven't added much in the way of fish to that tank in over six months, and also the clown rules the roost, so the tang is definitely second dog.

From what else I know about the species in general, they're pretty fragile shippers, but if you can get one into a tank and settled, they're very hardy. This one bears that out, as he's been tough as nails.
