it's amazing that he has held them for this long!

I was cleaning the tank last week and bumped snowball. He spined me right in the side of my pinky. The tip broke when I pulled it out just as it was designed to do. I am too much of a baby to dig it out so it is still there! Luckily it is only about 2mm long and seems to be working it's way to the surface.

I just got the same urchin this week, Blue Tuxedo Urchin. Cute little bugger indeed. eats coraline and hair algae.

I had a ph swing in my tank and almost all of snowballs spines fell out. I wish I could take better pictures because now he has a baby fur of spines that are regrowing that you cannot see in my pics.
