Kings Park from this morning. Measured 31" on my snow table...
My neighbors house. Her front door is up 3 steps from ground level.

Long Island expressway closed tomorrow from 9 to 5 for snow removal

I heard it was 7a-5p, but only exits 53 and up are closed?

I got probably 3+ feet of snow ( we are about 160 feet above sea level). It took me 6 hours (with few beer breaks) to dig out 2 cars from my driveway. Roads are drivable but covered with snow.

LIE closed both directions from exit 57-73 from
7am till 5. May open earlier depending on how the plows make out. From a buddy in the Suffolk PD

This snow is crazy. It's incredible to think that an expressway the size of the LIE is being completely shut down.

I'm relieved (and surprised) more people didn't lose power.

Lie at 4:00 am today at exit 62. On my way to Airport. Had to wait a bit for the pay loaders to clear a path.
