I'm thinking of starting a clownfish only tank - 90 or 120 gallons - with BTA. Can anyone tell me if I could have a harem of maroon clowns? (1 large female, maybe 3 or 4 small males)? I know that's how they occur in the wild, but I don't know anyone who has tried to replicate this in an aquarium.

I don't recommend it. Maroons are very aggressive by nature. You can probably get away with something like that with the less aggressive clowns and a very big tank. JMO.

Adrian, those 'Gasters' look like a cross between clarkii's and saddlebacks.

They are from the clarkii complex but not clarkiis

Thanks for your advice about not keeping a herd of maroon clowns. I saw a display in the aquarium in cancun of a herd of percs, but that's a whole different story from maroons.
